Hermosa House

A remodel of a turn-of-the-century home on Portland’s west side. The clients wanted their house to feel modern and masculine. The JHL team dialed down the whimsy and added a little edginess to make it a liveable, casual space. A surprising element of the project are the multiple faux book walls cast in plaster.
